HOW IT WORKS

FAQ's

Find answers to commonly asked questions about our services and approach.

What issues do you work with?

I work with individuals navigating some of life’s most difficult and layered experiences — trauma, addiction, chronic illness, disability, grief, and major life transitions. Many of the clients I see are not dealing with just one challenge, but a combination of experiences that have shaped how they think, feel, and move through the world.

What is your approach to therapy?

My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I integrate modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness, while also focusing on nervous system regulation and how the body responds to stress and trauma.

How do you view clients in therapy?

I do not view people as diagnoses or labels. I see individuals whose systems have adapted to what they’ve been through—and from that place, we begin the work of rebuilding.

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes. Services are provided via secure online therapy to clients located anywhere in the state of Texas.

What can I expect from working with you?

In our work together, we focus on identifying clear goals and breaking them down into manageable, achievable steps. We work on building insight, strengthening coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and developing healthier patterns in relationships and daily life.

What is your role as a therapist?

My role is to help clients make sense of patterns and build a path forward that is both realistic and meaningful.

What is the experience like for clients?

Clients often tell me they feel both supported and challenged in our work together. That balance is intentional. My goal is to create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to rebuild their lives in a way that aligns with who they are.

We can work together to make sense of what you’re carrying and what comes next.
